Nana kept it simple: real bananas, water and a pinch of sea salt. Natural electrolytes, no added sugar, 50 kcal a can. Nothing fussy.

Bananas naturally carry potassium, one of the electrolytes your body relies on. Nana knew. Now it's in a can.
What your legs ask for after a run or a long day.
a banana's worth. obviously. All the sweetness is the fruit's. Nothing sweet added.

if you can't say it, don't drink it.Light, clean and refreshing. A little banana-ry and a tiny pinch of salt. Still, not fizzy. Nothing thick or smoothie-like.
Real bananasNo added sugarNo preservativesNever from concentrate
Same bananas, steeped the same way. Only the fruit changes. Pick one to see it up close.

Tastes like a very ripe banana, lightly salted. Still, not fizzy, quietly sweet, nothing thick about it. Shake it, open it cold, and it's gone in a minute.

One fruit, four steps. What goes in the can, and why.
Heirloom bananas from community-run farms in Thailand, picked when the freckles come. Freckles mean the starch has turned to the fruit's own sugar and the potassium is at its peak.
Steamed and pressed to release the banana's own water. A banana is about three quarters water, so nothing needs adding to make it drinkable. No concentrate, ever.
A pinch of sea salt. That, and the fruit, is where the electrolytes come from: potassium from the banana, sodium from the salt.
Lightly pasteurised and sealed, so it keeps on the shelf without preservatives. Open it cold.
Ours never threw away a freckled banana. When somebody came home tired, hot or heartbroken, she simmered the ripest ones into water, added a pinch of salt, and handed over a glass with one instruction. Nana's puts that habit in a can.
